What Last Season Already Taught You

Before adding new plans, it’s worth pausing to consider what your garden already revealed.

Last season left clues.

Which plants struggled despite attention? Which ones thrived with little care? Where did watering feel constant and ineffective? Where did things seem to work naturally?

These patterns matter more than trends or recommendations.

Resilient gardens improve when we respond honestly to what happened — not what we hoped would happen.

It can be uncomfortable to acknowledge failures, but most garden “failures” are simply mismatches between plants and conditions. That’s information, not a mistake.

Try writing down three observations from last season:

  1. One thing that required more water than expected

  2. One thing that thrived without much input

  3. One area that felt difficult to manage

These notes don’t require solutions yet. They’re reference points.

Good garden decisions are cumulative. They build from observation to adjustment to refinement.

Next week, we’ll talk about priorities — and why choosing fewer goals often leads to better outcomes.

Happy Gardening,

Better prompts. Better AI output.

AI gets smarter when your input is complete. Wispr Flow helps you think out loud and capture full context by voice, then turns that speech into a clean, structured prompt you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or any assistant. No more chopping up thoughts into typed paragraphs. Preserve constraints, examples, edge cases, and tone by speaking them once. The result is faster iteration, more precise outputs, and less time re-prompting. Try Wispr Flow for AI or see a 30-second demo.
